Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan - Yerevan City tour
Arrival in Yerevan. Transfer to the selected hotel. After check-in (depending on time of arrival), proceed for Yerevan City Tour. You will have an opportunity to see the most important places and buildings including Republic Square, Yerevan State University, Victory Bridge, Sports & Concerts complex, Parliament, Palace of President, Academy of Sciences and Opera house. “Mayr - Hayastan” (panoramic view of Yerevan). We will make a stop at The Genocide Monument - is a memorial complex dedicated to the memory of the one and one-half million Armenians who perished in the first genocide of the twentieth century, at the hands of the Turkish government as victims of the Armenian Genocide. Then back to hotel for having a rest. Overnight in Yerevan
Day 2: Yerevan – Geghard – Garni – Gum market – Yerevan
Breakfast at the hotels’ restaurant. This day will head to the scenic Azat River Canyon to Geghard Cave Monastery at the bottom of it (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Next stop is at Garni village, where the Hellenistic-inspired Garni temple lies (66 AD). Here we provide free master-class of making Armenian lavash (lavash- UNESCO heritage) with degustation. Then visit to the “Gum’’ Market - This market is prominent of its dried fruits, sujukh, basturma, aromatic herbs and fresh fruits-vegetables. Overnight in Yerevan
Day 3: Yerevan – Sevan – Dilijan – Yerevan
After breakfast visit to Lake Sevan, which is 2000m above sea. Trip includes visit Sevanavank, too, located on the peninsula of Sevan. Tour will continue to Dilijan, a lush resort town immersed in greed forests, here you can feel the atmosphere of the old town as it was in the 19th century. Tour Continues to Hagartsin Monastery complex dramatically located among picturesque mountains covered with dense forest. Then back to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan
Day 4: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out. Transfer to Zvartnots International Airport.
